Antarctica Animals
A few weeks ago we visted the Antarctic Center.
For the last few weeks I have been learning about Antactica I choose animals.
First I chose to learn about Emperor Penguins. I did lots of reading and then I did a plan about it. Then I got to write an infomration report about Emperor Penguins. I used corect structure of a description. It has an Intoduction Characteristics and an Evaluation. Here is my finished infomation report.

Emperor Penguins

Emperor Penguins live in the snow in Antarctica. They are birds.

Emperor Penguins are 115 cm to 3.8ft tall. They weigh 30 kg to 66 lb. They have two flippers and two feet. They have a black and orange beak.

They mainly eat fish from Antarctica and they also eat krill and squid.

Emperor Penguins feed and swim together in a group. Penguins a friendly fun and curious they are fine if we are far away but when we come to close they attack us.

Emperor Penguins are my favorite animal because they are cute and funny when they fall over or slide on there belly.

For maths we have been doing geometry our subject right now is symmetry    

Titanus Giganteus

For reading we wrote about an insect of our own choose I choose Titanus Giganteus.

Titanus giganteus are a powerful insect. They are alive.

Titanus Giganteus have three body part the abdomen thorax and head they also have antennae.

A Titanus Giganteus is a huge beetle with powerful jaws with a really strong bite. They are pure black and have two sets of wings. Another name for Titanus Giganteus is Titan beetle. They are 6.5 inches WOW.

Titanus Giganteus live deep in tropical rain forest in South America, North Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and the Guianas, most titan beetles we find now are mostly from french Guiana.

Adult titan beetles do not feed, searching instead for mates, baby’s Titanus Giganteus eat leaves seeds fruit.

I hate Titanus Giganteus because they are huge and gross.

ANZAC

The last 2 weeks we have been learning about ANZAC Day and about the people that risked there life for us. We read a story about the moria batalian, We also had a spiecal vistor who was my Nana and she showed stuff from world war one. She also showed us photos of his grave and his freinds grave.
