ANZAC

The last 2 weeks we have been learning about ANZAC Day and about the people that risked there life for us. We read a story about the moria batalian, We also had a spiecal vistor who was my Nana and she showed stuff from world war one. She also showed us photos of his grave and his freinds grave.

  1. Wow Connie, how exciting to have your Nana come to school and share with you what she knows about ANZAC day. You must be very proud. The Māori Battalion had a very well known song they marched to, see if you can find it on you tube and come and chat to me about what you think of it.

  2. Hi Connie,
My name is Mikaela and i'm a year 6 student at St. Bernadette's School. I like how the writing was clear and easy to read. Maybe next time you could add some more information about the story Moria Batalian. Is this your first time learning about Anzac Day ?
