Welcome to the SHS’s Learning Journey Programme! Day 4

We have traveled to the north island and are exploring Farwell Spit and Golden bay. Every day we get given points on the amount of activities we have done we always get bonus activity that we can do if we want. The aim of the game is to win.

Activity 1: make a breif summary on what the viligers do at Farwell Spit to try to help the whales.

First they tryed to keep themalive bye making sure there blow holes were clean / clear. Then they covered them with some blankets. Then they grabed anything that could keep them most / wet.

Bonus Activity: Write a summary about wether we think that fishing in Farwell Spit should be banned / stopped and why.

I think Fishing in farwell spit should be stopped / banned because hector dolfins are a native NZ (New Zealand) animal. They are also one of the smallest dolfins in the worls at only 1.5 meaters (thats small). They are also very rare because there are not many of this sepcies  because of fishers.
